    Delegates McCuskey, Shott and Espinosa move to amend the amendment on page 7 on line 17 of section 3 by inserting the following new subsection, to read as follows:

“(c)(1)The Attorney General may not enter into a contract for legal services with any person who:

(A) has contributedmore than $250 to any of the candidates for Attorney General in the previous election; or

(B) is related to the Attorney General either through blood or marriage; or

(C) is an employee of the Attorney General’s previous employer.

(2) Any assistant attorney general or special assistant attorney general or any other attorney appointed by the Attorney General must satisfy the same conflict of interest standards applied to the Attorney General and his staff as set forth herein.”

AND

renumbering the remaining subsections accordingly.
